Master Life and Health Sciences (specialisation Genetics, Physiology) Back
The specialty allows the student to acquire knowledge in various scientific fields ranging from genetics to immunology and neuroscience through bioinformatics, glycobiology and biotechnology.
During the M1, on a solid and mandatory knowledge base acquired in S1 in the fields of molecular and cellular genetics, cellular and integrated physiology, the student then provides his own path with the possibility to choose several EU on different themes. He can, if he wishes, deepen his knowledge in disciplinary fields by choosing all modules of the discipline, but may also have a multidisciplinary approach to his master by modulating its choice. The student will also have an initial experience in a laboratory or company during a compulsory internship of 2 months.
During the M2, the student uses his theoretical knowledge to address a topic of research, and thus propose a strategy and experimental designs. This training aims to enable students to develop their capacity for critical analysis of a biological situation and allow them to integrate ethical issues associated with any experimental approach. The master offers a progressive and diverse training to students from different university courses (Science, Pharmacy, Medicine).
Scientific monitoring, preparation of scientific reports, synthesis of scientific publications, control and implementation of collaborative scientific projects, working with digital tools, interdisciplinary approach, autonomy and taking initiative.
